Don Gaetano Tantalo sarà proclamato beato

Entro il prossimo autunno don Gaetano Tantalo, il prete eroe della Marsica, sarà proclamato beato. L'annuncio è stato dato dai rappresentanti del Vaticano alla diocesi di Avezzano, provincia dell'Aquila. La cerimonia dovrebbe tenersi tra ottobre e novembre in piazza San Pietro, a Roma. Per la chiesa don Gaetano Tantalo è il protagonista di una intercessione che ha consentito la miracolosa guarigione di un bambino piemontese di 12 anni.

Il piccolo, con i genitori, era in vacanza in Sardegna. Qui venne colpito da un improvviso malore: secondo i medici non c'erano possibilità di salvezza. Dopo una notte di preghiera rivolta a don Tantalo, perchè facesse la grazia, il bambino guarì e i medici parlarono di evento inspiegabile. (Cor)
